On October 30, Consul General Meaghan Shaw and her delegation of the Australian Consulate General in Chengdu visited Tongwei for discussion and exchange and were warmly received by Liu Shuqi, Chairman and CEO of Tongwei Co., Ltd. Deputy Consul General Nina Dynon and Deputy Consul General (Business) Helen Dai of the Australian Consulate General in Chengdu; Executive Director and Union Chairman Feng Chang of Tongwei Co., Ltd., Deputy General Manager Xue Qingsong of Module Marketing of the PV Business Department, and relevant business leaders accompanied the visit.
Consul General Meaghan Shaw and her delegation visited the Experience Center of Tongwei Group and gained a deep understanding of Tongwei's development history and current main business situation over the years. They highly appreciated the green ecological development concept actively advocated by Tongwei and fully affirmed Tongwei’s outstanding achievements in the fields of agriculture and PV new energy in the long term.

At the meeting, Consul General Meaghan Shaw congratulated Tongwei on its achievements in stable development over the years and expressed sincere expectations and high attention for further deepening economic and trade cooperation between both sides. The Consul General gained a detailed understanding of the overseas PV layout and promotion of Tongwei and emphasized that a global cross-regional business cooperation pattern had come into being and the introduction, collaboration and sharing of external resources would play a crucial role in industrial and economic development. Facing new opportunities brought by rapid development of the global PV industry, Tongwei had demonstrated great development potential and innovation capability. The Australian Consulate General in Chengdu would continuously play a bridging role to actively promote the business development and cooperation of Tongwei in Australia.
